At its 10th plenary meeting, on 29 June 2005, the Economic and Social Council adopted the agenda of its substantive session of 2005,12 and approved the proposed programme of work of the session, as orally revised.13 At the same meeting, on the recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations, the Council approved the requests made by non-governmental organizations to be heard by the Council at its substantive session of 2005 under agenda item 2.
