At its 13th plenary meeting, on 2 July 2012, the Economic and Social Council adopted the agenda of its substantive session of 20125 and approved the programme of work6 and took note of the list of documents7 for the session. At the same meeting, the Council also approved the recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations that the non-governmental organizations requesting to be heard by the Council at its substantive session of 2012 be heard under agenda item 2, High-level segment.8
