At its 2nd plenary meeting, on 9 February 2010, the Economic and Social Council decided that the work of the operational activities segment of its substantive session of 2010 should be devoted to the progress on and implementation of General Assembly resolutions 62/208, 63/232 and 64/220 and Council resolution 2009/1 concerning operational activities for development of the United Nations system.
