At its 11th plenary meeting, on 12 May 2006, the Economic and Social Council decided that the Council event to discuss relief to development, to be held in the morning of 14 July 2006, would be as follows: (a) the title of the event would be “Economic and Social Council event to discuss relief to development”; (b) the event would be an informal half-day activity; and (c) there would be no negotiated outcome.
