At its 73rd plenary meeting, on 24 December 2010, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Fifth Committee,103 authorized the rollover into 2011 of the unspent balance of the funding for associated costs approved in 2010 to allow the Secretary-General to continue the activities and projects in 2011 that had been deferred and to avoid interruption of or negative impact on the ongoing capital master plan project, and decided to consider at the first part of its resumed sixty-fifth session the report of the Secretary-General on proposals for financing associated costs for 2011 from within the approved budget for the capital master plan.105
