Security Council Resolution 189 (1964) [on Complaint Concerning Acts of Aggression Against the Territory and Civilian Population of Cambodia]
Dep/ores the incidents caused by the penetration of units of the Army of the Republic of Viet-Nam into Cambodian terrïtory;

Requeststhat just and fair compensation should be offered to the Royal Government of Cambodia;
3
Invitesthose responsible to take all appropriate measures to prevent any further violation of the Cambodian frontier;
4
Requestsall States and authorities, and in particular the members of the Geneva Conference, to recognize and respect Cambodia's neutrality and territorial integrity;
5
Decides to send three of its members to the two countries and to the places where the most recent incidents have occurred, in order to consider such measures as may prevent any recurrence of such incidents; they will report to the Security ·Council within forty-five days.

Considérant 1a plainte du Gouvernement royal du Cambodge contenue dans le document S/5697 15, sujet ce cette plainte,
Notant avec regret les incidents survenus en territoire vietnamienne, exprimés au Gouvernement royal du Cambodge au sujet ont résulté,
Nam de parvenir au rétablissement d'une situation paci-
d'éléments de l'armée de la République du Viet-Nam en territoire cambodgien;

Demande qu'une compensation juste et équitable soit offerte au Gouvernement royal du Cambodge;
3
Inviteles responsables à prendre toutes les mesures appropriées en vue d'éviter toute nouvelle violation de la frontière du Cambodge; culier aux membres de la Conférence de Genève, de ritoriale du Cambodge;
derniers incidents, en vue d'examiner les mesures susceptibles d'en éviter le retour; ils feront rapport au Conseil de sécurité dans un délai de quarante-cinq jours.

On 5 June 1964, the Presdent of the Council named Brazil, the Ivory Coast and Morocco to carry out the mission decided upon in paragraph 5 of the above resolution.
