Decides on the following working arrangements for the 2026 session of the Economic and Social Council, mindful that it may need to convene additional meetings as needed:

The partnership forum will be held on 27 January 2026;

The coordination segment will be held on 28 and 29 January 2026;

The one-day special meeting of the Council on international cooperation in tax matters will be held on 27 March 2026;

Dedicated management meetings will be held on 8 April 2026, to conduct elections to fill vacancies in subsidiary bodies of the Council and related bodies;

The youth forum will be held from 14 to 16 April 2026;

The forum on financing for development follow-up will be held from 20 to 24 April 2026;

The multi-stakeholder forum on science, technology and innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals will be held on 6 and 7 May, 2026;

The operational activities for development segment will be held from 27 to 29 May 2026;

The meetings of the management segment will be held on 10 and 11 June 2026 and on 21 and 22 July 2026;

The meeting on the transition from relief to development will be held on 16 June 2026;

The humanitarian affairs segment will be held from 17 to 19 June 2026;

The high-level political forum on sustainable development convened under the auspices of the Council will be held from 6 to 10 July 2026;

The high-level segment of the Council, including the three-day ministerial segment of the high-level political forum on sustainable development convened under the auspices of the Council, will be held from 13 to 16 July 2026;

Also decides that the organizational session regarding the programme of work of the Council from July 2026 to July 2027 will be held on 23 July 2026.
