At its 1st plenary meeting, on 25 July 2022, the Economic and Social Council elected, by acclamation, Lachezara STOEVA (Bulgaria) as President of the Economic and Social Council for the 2023 session, and Albert Ranganai CHIMBINDI (Zimbabwe), Arrmanatha Christiawan NASIR (Indonesia) and Maurizio MASSARI (Italy), as Vice-Presidents of the Economic and Social Council for the 2023 session, and, by secret ballot, Paula NARVÁEZ (Chile), as a Vice-President of the Economic and Social Council for the 2023 session, on the understanding that they remained representatives of members of the Council.
