At its 43rd plenary meeting, on 21 July 2010, the Economic and Social Council took note of the report of the Governing Council of the United Nations Environment Programme on its eleventh special session.21

At its 43rd plenary meeting, on 21 July 2010, the Economic and Social Council:

(a) Took note of the report of the Commission on Population and Development on its forty-third session;22

(b) Approved the provisional agenda and documentation for the forty-fourth session of the Commission as set out below:

Adoption of the agenda and other organizational matters.
