At its 8th plenary meeting, on 28April 2010, the Economic and Social Council decided, with regard to the event to discuss transition from relief to development, that:

(a) The title of the event would be “From relief to recovery, lessons learned from the experience of Haiti”;

(b) The event would be an informal activity held in the afternoon of 13 July 2010;
