At its 42nd plenary meeting, on 29 July 2009, the Economic and Social Council, recalling its relevant resolutions on the coordinated implementation of the Habitat Agenda,36 and having considered the recommendations of the Governing Council of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, including the recommendation contained in resolution 22/9 of 3 April 2009 of the Programme37 addressed to the Council:
(a) Took note of the report of the Secretary-General on the coordinated implementation of the Habitat Agenda;38

(b) Decided to transmit the report to the General Assembly for consideration at its sixtyfourth session;
(c) Requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on the coordinated implementation of the Habitat Agenda for consideration by the Council at its substantive session of 2010.
