At its 41st plenary meeting, on 27 July 2006, the Economic and Social Council decided to take note of the following reports:

(a) Report of the Commission on Human Rights at its sixty-second session;55

(b) Report of the International Narcotics Control Board for 2005.56

At its 42nd plenary meeting, on 27 July 2006, the Economic and Social Council took note of the following reports:

(a) Report of the Secretary-General on follow-up to the Fourth World Conference on Women and progress made in the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and the outcome of the twenty-third special session of the General Assembly;57

(b) Report of the Executive Board of the United Nations International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women on the work of its third session;58

At its 43rd plenary meeting, on 28 July 2006, the Economic and Social Council also took note of the report of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights on its thirty-fourth and thirty-fifth sessions.60
