At its 41st plenary meeting, on 27 July 2006, the Economic and Social Council took note of the report of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs on its forty-ninth session37 and approved the provisional agenda for the fiftieth session of the Commission as set out below, on the understanding that intersessional meetings would be held in Vienna, at no additional cost, to finalize the items to be included in the provisional agenda and the documentation requirements for the fiftieth session:
