At its 38th plenary meeting, on 25 July 2005, the Economic and Social Council took note of Commission on Human Rights resolution 2005/62 of 20 April 2005,53 and endorsed the Commission’s request to the Secretary-General to make available to the Commission at its sixtysecond session a report on the implementation of his five-point action plan and on the activities of

the Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, as well as its invitation to the Special Adviser to address the Commission at its sixty-second and sixty-third sessions on the progress made in discharging his duties.
