At its 38th plenary meeting, on 25 July 2005, the Economic and Social Council took note of Commission on Human Rights decision 2005/114 of 21 April 2005,59 and endorsed the Commission’s decision that the first meeting of the Commission would be held on the third Monday in January, with the sole purpose of electing its officers, and that the sixty-second session of the Commission would be held from 13 March to 21 April 2006.
