At its 49th plenary meeting, on 22 July 2004, the Economic and Social Council took note of the report of the third session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues62 and took note of the serious concerns and reservations on paragraph 52 of the report as expressed at the 48th plenary meeting. 63 The Economic and Social Council decided to transmit those concerns and reservations to the Permanent Forum and requested the Forum to take them into account in its work, in accordance with its mandate as contained in Council resolution 2000/22 of 28 July 2000.
