At its 48th plenary meeting, on 22 July 2004, the Economic and Social Council took note of Commission on Human Rights resolution 2004/86 of 21 April 200415 and endorsed the Commission’s request to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to report to the General Assembly at its fifty-ninth session and to the Commission at its sixty-first session on assistance to Sierra Leone in the field of human rights, including with reference to the Human Rights Section of the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone.
