At its 48th plenary meeting, on 22 July 2004, the Economic and Social Council took note of Commission on Human Rights resolution 2004/27 of 16 April 200415 and approved the Commission’s request to the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health to submit annually a report to the Commission and an interim report to the General Assembly on the activities performed under his mandate.
