At its 52nd plenary meeting, on 19 December 2003, the Economic and Social Council decided to defer consideration of chapter IV of the report of the Committee for Development Policy on its fifth session 102 and chapter I, section B of the report of the Commission on Sustainable Development on its eleventh session77 until the organizational session of the Council in 2004.
