At its 48th plenary meeting, on 24 July 2003, the Economic and Social Council, recalling paragraph 7 (a) (v) of the annex to General Assembly resolution 46/235 of 13 April 1992 and Economic and Social Council resolutions 1998/46 of 31 July 1998 and 2002/37 of 26 July 2002, decided that the duration of the regular sessions of the Commission should be one week.
