Human Rights decision 2003/109 of 24 April 2003,54 endorsed the Commission’s decision to appoint Mr. Paulo Sérgio Pinheiro as Special Rapporteur with the task of preparing a comprehensive study on housing and property restitution in the context of the return of refugees and internally displaced persons, based on his working paper 55 as well as on the comments made and the discussions that took place at the fiftyfourth session of the Subcommission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and at the fifty-eighth session of the Commission, and also endorsed the request to the Special Rapporteur to submit a preliminary report to the Subcommission at its fifty-fifth session, a progress report at its fifty-sixth session and a final report at its fifty-seventh session.
