Decides that, pursuant to rule 59 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, documents of the Assembly, its committees and sub-committees shall be published in the Arabic language, together with any other report of the other organs of the United Nations dealing with either specific or general problems of interest to the areas where Arabic is spoken, provided that the volume of publications issued within ;my twelve-month period shall not exceed a total of 4,000 pages of English text;

Authorizes the Secretary-General to include in the budget estimates of the United Nations the necessary provision to give effect to this decision and to ensure that the translation of the texts into Arabic 8hall conform with the established practices for United Nations documentation.
