Recalls Indigenous Peoples’ rights, as recognized in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, to practise and revitalize their cultural traditions and customs, which includes the right to maintain, protect and develop the past, present and future manifestations of their cultures, as well as the right to maintain, control, protect and develop their cultural heritage, traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions, including their sciences and technologies;

Invites Member States to promote the appreciation of and respect for all cultures, noting the Wiphala as a manifestation by which certain Indigenous Peoples reaffirm their identity, unity and values, and safeguard their cultural heritage and traditional knowledge, and as an expression of living well in harmony, balance and complementarity with Mother Earth, to be displayed in public, educational and institutional spaces, as appropriate;

Calls upon the international community to advance in the understanding, tolerance and solidarity among all peoples and cultures, and to strengthen efforts to eradicate manifestations of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, including against Indigenous Peoples, and promote respect for the diversity of their cultural manifestations, traditions, practices and knowledge systems.
