Requests the Economic and Social Council :

To promote studies of a programme O! raJ?id (a) industrialization of the under-developed countnes, including the economic, social, fiscal, technical and orga!1izational problems involved, and the role that. the industrially advanced and under-developed countnes have to play in such a programme ;

To submit to the General Assembly, as _soon as practicable, concrete proposals for measures which may be of aid to the under-developed and the developed countries in connexion with the problems referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above.
