Requests the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees provisionally to undertake the func~ions foreseen under the Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness in accordance with its article 11 after the Convention has come into force;

Decides .to review, not later than at its thirtyfirst session, the opinion of the High Commissioner and the arrangements he shall have made in this regard, with a view to taking a decision on the establishment of the body envisaged under article 11 of the Convention.
