Requut, the Secretary-General to refer the report OD pneral co-ordination matters to the executive heada of the specialized •~and the International

Atomic Energy Aaency chinery of the Admini■trative ·ttee on Co-ordinatioa, u well u to the members of the Committee for Programme and Co-ordination for their information and comment, and to the members of the Board of Auditon and of the Joint Inspection Unit for their information;

Further request, the . Secretary-General to refer to the executive heads of the speciali7.ed a,encies and the International Atomic Ener&Y Apncy the observationa of the Advisory Committee contained in chapter m of it■ report on their administrative budaets for 1971, together with the views expressed by members of the Fifth Committee;

Also requests the Secretary-General to transmit the reports OD the review of the administrative and mana,ement procedures concerning the pro,ramme and budget of the International Labour Organisation and of the World Health Organization to the executive heads of those organizations so that the reports, toaether with the views expressed by members of the Pifth Committee, may be brought to the attention of the respective leaislative organs.

Taking note of the reports of the Secretary-Oeneral11 and of the Adviso!J Committee OD Adminlatrative and Budgetary Questions" submitted runuant to General Assembly resolution 2538 (XXIV of 11 Docember 1969 on publications and documentation of the United Nations,

Bearing In mind that it■ resolutions 2609 (XXIV) of 16 December 1969 and 2632 (XXV) of 9 November 1970, u well u the appointment by the Committee for Pro,ramme and Co-«clinatiOD of two apecial studies in the ecooomic and ■ocial field, provide concurrently for a cloself related examination of the whole fteld of documentation, meetinp and procedure, of the General Al■embly,

Decide, to defer to the twentz-■ixth aeuion its consideration of the item entitled Publications and documentation of the United Nations";

Request, the Secretary-General to 1ubmit to the General Auembly at it■ twenty-sixth session any additional information relatina to the implementation of resolution 2538 (XXIV) which he deems appropriate;

Requests the Secretary-General to continue, without detriment to the work pro,rammes of the United Nations, his effort■ to reduce expenditures on documentation in areas within his competence and authority, keepina in mind the ■ugestions specifically made in the Fifth Committee for ,reater economy ID this rep.rd;
