Reco111nrends that the specialized agencies which apply methods of assessment similar to ~hos~ of t~e United Nations and whose scales of contributions still reflect significant variation~ from the ~nited 1;J"ations scale should intensify their efforts with a view to bringing their scales int_o harm~ny ~ith the. Un~ted Nations scale at the earliest po·ss1ble time, takmg. mto account differences in membership and other pertment factors;

Requests the Secretary-General to transmit the present resolution to the specialized agencies concer~ed, together with the relevan_t comments a1:d. obse_rvatlons of the Advisory Committee on Admtmstrative and Budgetary Questions set forth in its report ~n . the administrative budgets for 1969 of the spec1ahzed agencies and the International Atomic Energy Agency ;

Requests the Advisory Committee to keep this matter under review and to report to the General Assembly periodically on the implementation of the present resolution.
