Notes with appreciation the Cairo Declaration of Developing Countries submitted to the General Assembly and included in the agenda of its seventeenth session ;

Recommends that Member States, the Economic and Social Council, other United Nations bodies and the specialized agencies should take into consideration the principles of the Declaration when dealing with subjects in the field of economic and social development.
