Takes note of chapter III B of the report of the Economic and Social Council ;6

Requests the Economic and Social Council to study the desirability of promoting, with the co-operation of Governments, increased use of such regional and national training facilities as may be made available under the United Nations programme of technical assistance ;

Suggests that, in the preparation of the report required under section III of Economic and Social Council resolution 659 B (XXIV) of 30 July 1957, account be taken of suggestions put forward by delegations during the twelfth session of the General Assembly for the purpose of assisting in the development of the Expanded Programme of Technical Assistance.
