Commends the Agent General of the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency for the excellent progress made by the Agency in pursuing its mission of assisting the Korean people to relieve the sufferings and to repair the devastation caused by aggression;

C ommends the Agent General for the progress he has made in carrying out the desire expressed by the General Assembly that the approved programmes of the Agency be expeditiously implemented to the maximum extent possible within available funds;

Expresses appreciation for the valuable and continuing assistance given to the Agency by United Nations specialized agencies and by voluntary nongovernmental organizations;

Decides to amend resolution 410 A (V) of 1 December 1950 as follows:

From paragraph 5 (d) delete the words "and to the Economie and Social Council" ;

( b) Delete paragraph 13 and renumber the subsequent paragraphs accordingly.
