Decides to renew the mandate of Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance for a further period of three years, in accordance with the terms of reference contained in Human Rights Council resolution 7/34;

Requests the Special Rapporteur to submit an annual report to the Human Rights Council and to the General Assembly on all activities relating to the mandate with a view to maximizing the benefits of the reporting process;

Also requests the Special Rapporteur to continue to participate in relevant international dialogues and policy forums relating to the fight against racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related forms of intolerance, and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and to undertake thematic research with a view to advise States and relevant State institutions on the elimination of all forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, including with reference to Sustainable Development Goal targets 10.2 and 10.3;

Further requests all States to cooperate with the Special Rapporteur in the discharge of his or her mandate;

Requests the Secretary-General and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to provide the Special Rapporteur with all the human resources and the technical and financial assistance necessary for the effective implementation of the mandate;

Decides to remain seized of this priority matter.
