At its 86th plenary meeting, on 25 July 2025, the General Assembly, on the proposal of its President,54 as amended,55 recalling paragraph 6 of its resolution 79/288 of 7 May 2025 on the scope, modalities, format and organization of the high-level meeting of the General Assembly on the thirtieth anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women, decided to approve the participation of the non‑governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions and the private sector as listed in the annex to the present decision in the highlevel meeting of the General Assembly on the thirtieth anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women, to be held pursuant to resolutions 78/182 of 19 December 2023 and 79/288.
