At its 45th plenary meeting, on 15 December 2020, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Sixth Committee,93 decided to defer a decision on the request for observer status for the Cooperation Council of Turkicspeaking States in the Assembly94 until the seventy-sixth session of the Assembly.
