At its 32nd (resumed) plenary meeting, on 21 November 2019, the General Assembly, on the proposal of its President,39 recalling its resolutions 67/290 of 9 July 2013, 70/1 of 25 September 2015, 70/299 of 29 July 2016 and 72/305 of 23 July 2018, decided that the main theme for the high-level political forum on sustainable development for 2020 and the Economic and Social Council for the 2020 session should be “Accelerated action and transformative pathways: realizing the decade of action and delivery for sustainable development”.
