At its 81st plenary meeting, on 22 December 2015, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Second Committee,60 took note of the report of the Trade and Development Board on its twenty-ninth special session,61 which was held in Geneva on 26 November 2015, and the decision contained therein, and welcomed the generous offer of the Government of Kenya to host the fourteenth session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in 2016.
