At its 80th plenary meeting, on 17 December 2015, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Third Committee,120 took note of the note by the Secretary-General transmitting, pursuant to Assembly resolution 69/200 of 18 December 2014, the report of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs on the progress made in preparation for the special session of the Assembly on the world drug problem to be held in 2016.121
