At its 65th plenary meeting, on 18 December 2009, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Third Committee,78 welcoming the outcome document of the Durban Review Conference79 convened in Geneva from 20 to 24April 2009 within the framework of the Assembly in accordance with its resolution 61/149 of 19 December 2006:

(a) Decided to endorse the outcome document of the Review Conference;

(b) Also decided to implement the outcome of the Review Conference as part of the wider implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action.80
