At its 82nd plenary meeting, on 8 May 2009, the General Assembly, on the proposal of the President of the General Assembly,31 noting the provisions contained in the note by the Secretariat on the proposed organization of work of the Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis and Its Impact on Development,32 decided to adopt the arrangements and organization of work of the Conference as set out in the note by the Secretariat and to recommend for adoption by
