At its 53rd plenary meeting, on 18 November 2008, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Second Committee,56 noting the provisions contained in the note by the Secretary-General on the proposed organization of work of the Follow-up International Conference on Financing for Development to Review the Implementation of the Monterrey Consensus,57 decided that the arrangements and organization of work of the Follow-up International Conference would be as set out in the note by the Secretary-General.
