At its 109th plenary meeting, on 17 September 2007, the General Assembly, on the proposal of Azerbaijan,26 decided to defer consideration of the item entitled “Protracted conflicts in the GUAM area and their implications for international peace, security and development” and to include it in the draft agenda of its sixty-second session.
