At its 80th plenary meeting, on 9 May 2006, the General Assembly, in accordance with paragraph 14 of resolution 60/251 of 15 March 2006 and on the proposal of its President,32 approved the staggering of terms of the members of the Human Rights Council from each regional group as set out in the following table:33
