At its 71st plenary meeting, on 10 December 2004, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee), 45
recalling its resolution 58/127 of 19 December 2003 on assistance in mine action, decided to include in the provisional agenda of its sixtieth session the item entitled “Assistance in mine action”.
