At its 1st plenary meeting, on 14 September 2004, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Committee on Conferences,16 decided that, on the strict understanding that meetings would have to be accommodated within available facilities and services, the Committee on Relations with the Host Country, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, the Working Group on the Financing of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme and of the United Nations Population Fund, the Executive Board of the United Nations Children’s Fund, the Disarmament Commission, the Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People and Other Arabs of the Occupied Territories and the Executive Board of the International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women should be authorized to meet in New York during the main part of its fifty-ninth session.

At its 18th plenary meeting, on 4 October 2004, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Committee on Conferences,17 decided that, on the strict understanding that meetings would have to be accommodated within available facilities and services, the United Nations Administrative Tribunal should be authorized to meet in New York during the main part of its fifty-ninth session.
