At its 77th plenary meeting, on 22 December 2003, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Third Committee,79 took note of the following documents:

(c) Report of the Secretary-General on the status of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment;82
