At its 2nd plenary meeting, on 19 September 2003, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the General Committee as set forth in its first report,16 adopted a number of provisions concerning the organization of the fifty-eighth session.
At its 75th plenary meeting, on 17 December 2003, the General Assembly, on the proposal of the President, decided to postpone the date of recess of the fifty-eighth session from 16 December to 22 December 2003.
At its 76th plenary meeting, on 19 December 2003, the General Assembly, on the proposal of the President, decided to
further postpone the date of recess of the fifty-eighth session to
23 December 2003.
